The vehicle accessibility industry is small, specialized, and requires extensive expertise to build and service a quality vehicle. Sparrow Hawk's employees are experienced and highly skilled. We have the combined experience in the vehicle mobility industry totalling over 50 years.
Transport Canada Certification
Compliance to Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards is of paramount importance to Sparrow Hawk Industries. We immediately applied for and received a National Safety Mark from Transport Canada. This status is provided to companies that have demonstrated compliance with all applicable Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards in relation to their modifications. Some of our testing will come from our National Mobility Equipment Dealers' Association (NMEDA) membership, and other tests will be conducted in house. We have also offered our time and facilities to assist NMEDA in both the finance and the testing committees.
