Viewpoint Commercial Vision
The Vision™ modification is ideal for almost any commercial application where wheelchair accessibility is required. The Vision™ can be equipped to transport one or two people in wheelchairs. This is ideal for taxi operators, nursing homes, and rental agencies.
The Vision™ not only looks like a conventional minivan, but can be used in the same way - bench seats can be reinstalled to obtain the same seating capacity as an unmodified van. This results in versatility unrivaled by other accessible vehicles.
Finally, the modification is nearly maintenance-free due to the minimal dependence on moving parts. The manual system is easy to use with low physical requirements and a wheelchair tie-down system can be located for ease of use. Overall, the Vision™ modification is extremely well suited to commercial use.
One Wheelchair Paratransit
The Vision™ one wheelchair van has a 60" Long floor in the rear of the van to accomodate the wheelchair passenger. The floor is lowered behind the middle row of seats to the rear hatch.
The OEM seating in the middle of the van is unaltered. You can interchange benches and quad seats.
The one wheelchair van can be equipped in fully manual or fully automatic configurations. You can add a folding rear bench seat for additional passengers. When there is not a wheelchair user in the van, you can have seating for up to seven people. Simply fold the bench up, and you still have ample seating up front, and the ability to have a wheelchair in the back.
Two Wheelchair Paratransit
The standard Vision™ van is set up to carry one or two wheelchair users. The first wheelchair rolls right between the middle bucket seats. Everyone has a great view and securement is simple. This van has 4 seats plus room for 2 wheelchairs for a total of 6 passengers. Add the rear folding bench to seat 2 additional passengers.
The lightweight aluminum bi-fold ramp is very strong, reliable, and nearly maintenance free. Perfect for commercial use!
