Auxiliary Vehicle Controls

Logi'Touch

image Logi'Touch's extraordinary new control is ideal for drivers who are looking for ease in operating a vehicle's secondary controls (switches). Logi'touch will add a new dimension to adaptive driving by providing alternatives not before realized. The National Mobility Equipment Driving Association (NMEDA) recommendations were an important factor in it's design to ensure the highest level of quality and functionality.

Features : Logi'touch incorporates infra-red technology to provide wireless control of many secondary functions. Therefore, unrestricted mounting possibilities are achieved without cumbersome wires or cables. Logi'touch features self-canceling illumination for night time driving Logi'touch uses common off-the-shelf batteries, so replacement is not a problem. Under normal use, the batteries will last about one-year. Logi'touch will not affect the use of the original switches/secondary controls. The key-pad measures three (3) inches in length, two (2) inches in width, and an amazingly slim, one (1) inch thickness.

Installation: Logi'touch systems can be installed in almost any vehicle and space requirements are minimal. One compact control module connected under the dash receives the mini key-pad signal from anywhere in the driver's area. Installation is easy, seamless and quick on most foreign or domestic vehicles. Our steering wheel mounting plate puts up to twelve (12) functions right at one's fingertips without the fabrication of any special brackets.

The EMC powered headrest is available for those who need to gain access to secondary vehicle functions through head movement. By simply activating a switch, the headrest conveniently folds against the wall of the vehicle to allow the wheelchair occupant sufficient room to enter and exit the driver's area of the vehicle.

The large blue button pictured above allows access to EMC equipment such as the DigiVoice system. Both of these systems will operate various vehicle functions, depending on the needs and wishes of individual clients. Please contact Sparrow Hawk for details on how an EMC system can make your driving safer and easier!
